POPOYO
Hola a todos, bienvenidos una vez más al reporte de surf de NSR. Hoy decidí ir a Popoyo para variar un poco el reporte de ésta semana.
El viento estuvo fuerte todo el día y es por ésta razón que fui a Popoyo, porque es uno de los pocos lugares que están medio protegidos por los fuertes vientos.
Las olas estaban bien divertidas, especialmente para surfear con longboard.
Y por supuesto, siempre divertidas para usar shortboard… por éstas razones Popoyo es uno de los lugares más visitados por surfistas de todo tipo.
Otro lugar que vale la pena visitar es la Biblioteca CREA, en las afueras de Rancho Santana. Es fácil encontrar el edificio que se mira desde el camino llegando a Limón 2.
En CREA hay todo tipo de libros: en español e inglés para niños y adultos. También hay un laboratorio de computadoras para investigar cualquier cosa por internet.
También tienen libros muy interesantes para aprender sobre Nicaragua, su cultura, geografía e historia.
En CREA también realizan todo tipo de actividades y eventos para niños de todas las edades.
La Escuela Internacional de Tola estuvo hoy en CREA donde les enseñaron a los niños la importancia de leer y cuidar de los libros.
Pero bueno, volviendo a Popoyo… a esta hora de la tarde sólo habían unos pocos surfistas, supongo que los fuertes vientos hizo que muchos no entraran al agua.
Este surfista local disfrutando al máximo las olas de Popoyo con su longboard.
A partir de mañana se espera que entre el nuevo swell que, según el pronóstico, para el sábado estarán de 3 a 5 pies, pero con fuertes vientos. Veremos! Hasta mañana!
