PANGA DROPS
Hey everyone, how’s it going? ready for another day of waves from Nicaragua? I bet you are so, enjoy!
The waves were small as expected but Panga Drops always offers a great session.
Between the different peaks divided in several sections, Panga is open for diversity of surfboards, styles and expertise.
It’s a great place for big, round cutbacks if you want to have a long ride.
And the different sections are great ramps to get some air and practice more vertical maneouvers.
Sometimes you need to be careful though, you never know when somebody will run you over with his board here at Panga Drops.
Panga has been fun these past weeks/months with so many people surfing here every day… but I can’t wait to see it big again, and just a few brave people catching its massive waves.
I noticed a great commotion going on South of Panga Drops… many people at the beach, and many birds flying and diving almost on top of the people.
I went to check it out and this is what I found… fishermen going crazy with a school of sardines trying to escape from a school of Jacks.
And many, many Jacks getting caught by the fishermen… some guys caught 6, 8 fish in 1 hour spam.
That’s a good size fish, don’t you think? and caught just with a traditional handline.
Can you see the fish through the wave? they were everywhere along the whole beach, really cool to see.
Everyone in the community will have a great dinner tonight, and breakfast and lunch for a couple of days. Buen provecho everyone! Hasta mañana!

Hello my friends, how are you?. We are surfing in the morning during the high tide. The waves keep coming constantly with good shape. Is windy and the waves are small, but fun. The water is a little cold but people from the States laughing when we say cold water. The temperature is around 25*..
