The swell is still lingering from that past couple of days.
Which means that the average waves were in the waist to head high range for most of the session.
However, there were still some pretty good size bombing set waves coming in about every 30 min or so. This isn’t one of them, but I’m sure this guy’s completely happy with it!
The best times or windows (I should rather say) of the day have been super small. So todays window apparently was just right before I got down there.
But that didn’t hinder any of the dozen people out enjoying from between 9am to around noon. Lesther cracking one just before high tide.
Really…??? He was too deep anyways, right?
The water’s still freakin chili! “Dubya T F !!!!
Here’s how you avoid sitting in all that chili water tho!
I tell you what isn’t cold…. the sand. It’s flipping HOT! Max from North Carolina setting up his follow cam and ready to jump in.
Here’s his first wave. Hey Max, which looks better, your camera or mine?
Johnny with is eyes on the prize, looking down the line for something fun on this little racy left. How many of you guess, cutback, floater, or air????
If you guessed cutback you would be correct, but this was his third maneuver, (the first being that nice bottom turn) a stylish little floater over about a foot of water.
You can’t have a Sunday Funday without a proper horse back ride on the playa. Aurita giving the niños a fun and memorable day here in Nica-land.
Always good to see Kevin back in town. Kevin is really good surfer….. errrr correction, he’s actually quite an AMAZING surfer.
But you can’t progress (which he constantly is doing) unless you push yourself in ways you never thought you were capable of doing.
Kevin’s always thinking outside the box!
Matt’s another influencer for some of our local talent here. Not just the traveling alone, but a lot of the sponsorship with clothes, traction pads, leashes, wax, even brand new surfboards are all made possible by him.
Tony Z’s a friend and fellow colleague of mine, but he does it right by taking time to put the camera down to throw down some fun lines from time to time. Nice turn buddy!
I saved the last little sequence for your viewing pleasure and parting good vibes for the rest of your relaxing weekend and also the last report for the month of March!!! Yippeeeee. Here’s Colin taking off on the wave of the day. He ended up getting a couple more that were just like this, but these were easily the biggest ones of the day.
Here’s the other angle… gliding in effortlessly on his magic single fin.
Pulling in under that thick lip.
To leash or not to leash… it all depends on your skill level really.

RECENT REPORTS
Merry Christmas everyone! Josh back behind the lens for the next few days. This evening’s surf report is coming your way from Panga Drops. Today definitely had its moments, but the windows were difficult to hit.
FROM THE ARCHIVES
Hey everyone, Brian signing in for todays surf report. We had some fun waves out there today, but the wind has been blowing a bit side shore, so it was making it a little challenging and bumpy on the wave faces.
Good afternoon! Happy Friday and welcome to todays surf report. I got down to the beach this morning to find these amazing conditions with crystal clear water and only a few people out. It was super clean with very little wind on it with medium fun sized peaks coming through as the tide was going..
