PLAYA SANTANA
Hello everyone, welcome to a beautiful day of surfing from Santana beach. As you can see, there were waves for everyone!
The A-frames were not as picture perfect as usual but still the waves were opening really nice both ways.
Brian Donovan (@b_donovan) is back in the neighborhood right on time for the season.
Yuber Martinez (@yubersurf) looks ready for the season too… he’s been putting a lot of time in the water in the last few weeks.
I guess everybody has been working hard to be ready for this year’s waves… look at this surfer about to launch a nice air.
This kid has been developing his surfing so fast in the last year!
If Junior Martinez is surfing it means that the waves were good, he has high standards.
Check out Nesmer Silva (@nesmer_silva), another kid that has shown real improvement in the last year.
Look at his style throughout this maneouver…
Perfect positioning of his arms and body while slashing the face of the wave.
And finishing it with a tale slide for an extra touch.
There is plenty of room on Nesmer’s board for some sponsor stickers if any of you are interested.
Another surfer that doesn’t miss any good waves… the older brother of the Martinez family, Mario.
The waves were good but they were not offering barrels that often.
It’s supposed to be a little bit better tomorrow so come back to check it out, I’ll probably be taking photos again at Santana. Hasta mañana!
