POPOYO
Hello! how’s everyone today? I hope everybody saw yesterday’s report from Colorado, it was pretty good!
I decided to check other spots in the area, you know, trying to be creative and show you more options in case you get bored catching only barrels at Colorado.
Popoyo was great… big open walls rolling for miles (at least that’s what it feels like when you are paddling back to the lineup after a great ride.
Outter Reef looked amazing (from this far)… but the closer you get, the scarier you get.
According to the experts this swell didn’t have the right angle to wake up this beast.
But with this size, not so common peaks start showing up, luring surfers to go explore the unknown.
Like the Punta Sardinas outer reef… looks tempting don’t you think? I wonder if anyone have ever surfed it before.
It’s all about go around corners, check out the reefs, hike through the rocks until you see something that might be rideable.
Or you can just go to your favorite break and rip all over the place. Check out this guy’s First turn.
Third turn and going! This guy did 2 more turns before almost hitting the rocks.
Tomorrow the big waves continue,come check out for more Nicaragua waves. The season is starting great so, start checking for flights soon! Cheers!
