Hello everyone, this is Baldo back again with the Monday’s Surf Report… I hope eveybody had a good day as good as the waves we had here, check it out!
The forecast for today said 3-5 ft but definitely stayed around the 5 the whole day… Check out this Secret Spot on fire!
This wave, in conditions like today, has so many sections, you have to adjust your speed several times on a single ride.
Look at this guy hitting the breaks on this one, he was aiming for the barrel.
But right away he realized the barrel was not an option so he hit the gas to pass the section.
Plenty of barrels though, these guys were having a blast at this spot.
What’s the best thing to do after coming out of a nice barrel? A strong bottom turn of course.
Or a nice carve on the face of the wave… this turn is right after coming out of the barrel from the next sequence.
Check it out… after setting up the line, the wave did that thing that we all are always searching.
Full covered in the green room with only one window showing the way out.
Sometimes you have to push through that window before it closes down on you.
This spot is not that easy to find it this good, I’m glad I came to check it out, and I’m thankful that there were a few surfers enjoying it!
I’ll be checking this spot more often, it was awesome to see it this good today.
Looks like tomorrow the waves will drop in size a bit throughout the day so, it might be still really good, as most of the days here in Nicaragua. Hasta mañana!
