Always fun to go explore the wild and rugged beautiful Nicaraguan coastline for surf with your amigos!
Pancho el Pelon Bradford (here) and his three buddies have been coming to Nica since 2003. So they’re no stranger to these waves.
Matter a fact, they all just went in on an Eco Casita here in the Tola Area. It’s Eco Casita 3-2 called Casa de Olas Nicaragua!
Hacienda Iguana to be exact, where NSR will be property managing it for them. They even have a Instagram page for it…. you can go check out here,@casadeolas_nicaragua.
This is the look you have when you officially own property in Nica-Land and can come surf these warm water waves anytime you wish!
Matt, aka “bearded burrito” also went in on the awesome deal they scored on their new pad.
He will be taking his surfing to the next with multiple surf trips now!
Isn’t that right Matt??? ahem… I mean Bearded Burrito! jaja
Don Chele Lee who’s North American name translates to Justin Lee will be using his more latin derived name more often now that he’s gonna be staying here a lot more.
And what’s good about that is his name matches his surfing style well. Nice turn El Jefe!
You can get used to this, I’m sure!
The Bearded one falling from the sky way up north.
Chele Lee Falling from the same sky but on a wide swinging left
The frothy ones were only being served up over the very shallow and sharp rocks and for those who dared to enter!
Hey, if you’re in the neighborhood tomorrow night and looking for something really fun to attend, look no further than here. Come join in or just sit back and relax and listen to Anana’s Open Mic night. Its always a good time and you won’t be disappointed.
Back to the other music scene. Don Chele Lee splitting the peak with his business partner, roomie and official sunscreen caretaker!
After have way too much fun at the first surf spot, we decided to venture on to some other places and see what was happening.
This is what was happening. Only 3 guys out and me swimming. Not bad for a day out on the ocean and playing in the waves.
Although it was only 3-4 feet today, that didn’t keep Pancho from looking for a nice little cover up.
Matt’s face, well, smile in particular (if you’re able to zoom in) exemplifies todays fun factor 10 fold.
He also wanted so badly to get inside one of those salty tubos. Nice effort though hermano!
RECENT REPORTS
Hey everyone! Welcome to Tuesday’s surf report from Panga Drops. The swell was notably stronger than I expected. Some early season Pacific power! Middle peak was the place to be, but it was windy.
FROM THE ARCHIVES
Happy Tuesday everyone! Well, I guess we could call it Taco Tuesday, because all the folding barrels we had out there this afternoon, looked just like that. Perfect Tacos! Come get your grind on like these lucky few did today!
