Plenty of eyes on it but not a lot of takers. “Hmmm I don’t know, what do you think? Hmmm yeah let’s rest before the big party at Don Eloys tonight.”

Robert and Greg, on the other hand, have been on it. Here’s Robert locking into his sequence.

These guys are phenomenal clients whom we always look forward to hosting. Evidently, they love us too as they come down multiple times per year. Regardless, welcome back down and we’re stoked y’all are off to a great start inCantamarand the meal plan is (as always) awesome.

Over lunch today, we had some great conversations about life, work, and marriage. Both of them explained how they “married up.” I agree- Katie’s hospitality in Florida last year was greatly appreciated but let’s highlight Karla for a minute. Her and Robert have a 2 year old boy with the girl on the way. She is holding down the fort so dad can get away from work and enjoy himself. I understand what y’all mean by marrying up and finding amazing women!

Getting back to the surf, if you can’t tell, I shot the reef at a higher tide. When the waves are small, you can always find a peak offering some size.

Brian shot a tube sequence and here some more to show off. Is it epic and perfect? Probably not. Is it empty and enough to do the trick? I think so but what do you think?

Let Koji show why you he thinks so too.

Putting it all in there! Keep surfing like that hermanito and eyes will keep watching you. Good stuff dude.

The catch 22 of the wave: it’s shifty. Sometimes you catch a ton of waves in succession and other times you are always somehow in the wrong spot. Yuji, Koji’s bro and Brett’s other boy, didn’t quite line up with a ton of gems today.

But, anytime you make surfing a family affair, it’s worth it. Alright damas and caballeros, tomorrow should show similar conditions before this new groundswell shows up. Stay tuned and y’all have a great rest of the weekend!
