We’re kind of in-between swells right now too, so it’s a good time to regroup before we get our next juicy pulse forecast for the earlier part of August.

I can’t believe we’re already heading into August actually. This season is has been going by so quickly, so it seems.

Still plenty of time to book a late summer trip.

August and September are actually my favorite times of year here. Still plenty of swell, the crowds start to dwindle and the winds are mellow but still offshore and it’s usually really nice and clean conditions; just take a look back in our history databank at last September.

I believe we touted that month as the “September Sessions” month and it delivered just that… a lot of really good sessions!

As for todays waves… I was really happy to see that almost the entire time I was shooting, almost everyone in the lineup was working on their floater game.

No joking! Because of the side shore winds, the waves were a bit on the crumbly side, so going above the lip was more optional out there on the drained out low tide.

See what I’m sayin’

Floaters all day today!

There were the occasional barrels of course.

Still a good day when you wrap up your marathon of a day of surfing and you still take time to look back and ponder the days waves.

Mikey getting it done with front row seats for this hombre!Well, that’s my report for the day and the close to a great weekend of waves and fun times here in Nica-land. Hope you all have a great week ahead. I’ll see you on the flip-side! Yewwww ~
RECENT REPORTS

Hey everyone! I hope you all had a great Fourth! Saturday’s report is coming your way from Colorados as per usual. It was smaller today, but very shreddable. Still a few tubitos too.
FROM THE ARCHIVES

Welcome to the Saturday surf report. The swell’s officially back to the small zone. But there’s still some fun waves out there to be had. Mira las fotos!
