PLAYA SANTANA
Hello everyone, this is Baldo with today’s surf report from Santana beach. With the onshore still here I decided to, at least, change location to get out of the Colorado monotony.
Lucky me (and all of you), there were 3 guys in the water making the best out of these conditions.
With it’s wedgy waves, Santana works “great” with these conditions because the wedges are there, messy, but still there.
The waves at Santana are (a little) more organized than the waves at Colorado when the onshore is hitting hard in this area. Check out the two peaks forming.
Of course, once you catch a wave you have to navigate through the different sections of the waves. It;s the perfect trainning grounds for any person who wants to improve its surfing.
If you are lucky enough you can be in the right position to catch one of these random waves that show up every 30 or so minutes.
Another great thing about these conditions is that you will never fight with anybody about catching waves… there are so many little peaks that every wave can be a party wave without bothering anyone!
With so many random peaks it’s a great opportunity to practice your transitional turns like floaters.
Also, with a lot of practice you will develop the ability of reading the waves better, and specially react better at every bump and peak that shows in front of you.
With all the Pros I just mentioned about surfing with onshore conditions… what are you waiting for to book your surf trip and become a better surfer with NSR!! Where there’s a will, there’s a way, right? Hasta luego!

Hey amigos! Welcome to Thursday’s surf report from Colorados. I saw the waves turn on and off about 7 separate times today. The conditions were in constant flux. It just so happened to be that the best window of the day was when I took pictures around 1:00pm.
Hey everyone! Welcome to Wednesday’s surf report from Colorados. The waves were better by all measurable metrics today. It was still walled up and slow, but there were definitely some 10 pointers to be had.

Hi everybody!!!. The waves were + o – in the morning. The waves were shoulder high with with good sections. Some waves have tubes when the tide was a little low. The onshore wind come around eleven in the morning. Check it out.
