Somewhere in Nicaragua
Holla holla party people. We are stoked to bring you another installment of our daily Nicaragua surf report. We didn’t have to wait to long for the winds to turn and the sun to come back out.
Waves are shoulder high to a little over head on the bigger sets. This is wind swell from the system spinning just north west of us so the period is low, and the waves are a little disorganized. But it’s peaky and super consistent with the north-south current moving at a good clip. Best of all there’s noone out!!
There were tons of little piping nuggets like this one coming through unridden. In fact the lineup was empty until well after sunrise. Finally, Oscar Espinoza paddled out by himself.
….and ripping hacks
This had John Springfield convinced so he paddled out on his own peak to share in the fun break between onshore spells and rain storms.
and got in on the action as well.
This was one of those rare days where the lefts were working as well as the right-handers. Oscar about to lay down a snap with technique.
Alright I take that back. The rights took the prize as usual at this spot. This thing had already been spinning for 40 yards before this shot.

Having seen enough from the beach, this visiting grom was out there!
…and quickly got on the scoreboard.

Howdy NSR diehard fans. Today we have had rain all day. Been going non-stop since last night. Although this is normal for this time of year, especially for October, it definitely makes for a lackluster surf report.
