As always, Panga Drops offers the best surf for this size. If the forecast says it’s 2-3 ft, PD throws 3-4 ft (or even more!).
Actually, it works awesome with any size, it is the best bet if you come to Nicaragua, and you are not looking for barrels, of course.
Be ready for PD because for the next few months you will be seen a lot of surfing from here.
You will be seen many cutbacks and wide turns.
If you get to come and surf Panga Drops, say Hi to Alberto on his SUP… and if you don’t see him, then look for him playing Volleyball at sunset.
When low tide happens near the sunset, this side of the beach gets a lot more visitors than in front of Colorado.
Here at Panga there is so much water moving on every wave that you see many party waves with both surfers actually enjoying it.
Check out this guy with the priority going for a big floater over this wide section.
And then the guy in front doing a nice cutback right under the pocket.
Even though our friend Mike prefer bigger waves, he is always out here at Panga Drops no matter the size.
We’ll see how it goes tomorrow, it’s suppose to be a little bit smaller so I’ll probably come back to Panga. Saludos!
RECENT REPORTS
Hey everyone! Welcome to Saturday morning’s surf report from Panga Drops. The waves were very small today, but the morning window was favorable with the tide. Good for cruisin’!
FROM THE ARCHIVES
Happy TGIF & the day after Thanksgiving friends! Hope you all had a great Holiday yesterday. Today we had some fun small playful surf back over at Colorados. The weather was really nice and the water was nice and as warm as it gets here. Jump on in.
