The Drops were offering up some really fun waves in the afternoon.
Luckily the surfers were making their way over our way today for some surfing action.
This local kid was frothing on the wave we had on tap.
Even though it wasn’t too big, he was showing his small wave repertoire perfectly fine.
Just like this!
As a photographer, I like to try and find new angles and perspectives to break up the monotany. Even different frames within a surfer on a wave. This kid pumping down the line looked pretty cool to me.
Even though he was going for the big punt on this end section and he didn’t really make it… it still looked pretty Rad!
Empty waves happen year round here. Trust me…. I watch this place daily.
Dario is back in his playground element.
This guy obviously launching a fun little air in his playful environment today too!
Tati is quite possibly the most critical surfer along this stretch of beach with her surfing. At least with my personal conversions with her. She’s always constantly talking with me and asking to see her improvements with her surfing from my photos. This in my opinion beats any other person looking for the quick Instagram snap or social media quick fix addiction need. She truly wants to improve her surfing and I LOVE that about her! Keep it up Girl!
December 3 way in Nica-Land!
Who likes wearing board shorts in December…. anyone who likes to surf here, that’s for sure!
Imagine guys who ride pink soft tops in So Cal (besides JOB – he doesn’t count)…… now imagine this guy. Who looks cooler??? Go ahead and come on down here and debate me over a Toña!
Colin giving this young gal a proper Nica-Hawaiian initiation. Don’t worry…. she was happy about it!
Spray it…. but in todays world, you should say it! Don’t be a pansy!
If there’s anything better than shooting some really good surfing….. its some other dudes…. shooting some really good surfing.
Right around 4 o’clock, 4:15 to be exact… cause we run on Nica time here, there was some kind of a really cool event going down at the beach club. So bounced out from the surfing action and made my way down to the festivities.
Anyone and EVERYONE who lives here were making their way to Pili’s beach club for an extravagantly themed party that no-one wanted to miss!!
That’s right!!!! Ol’ saint nick was coming down and it was a party for all ages!!!!
There was singing and candy and pretty much chaos, but whenever isn’t there such the delightful things when Santa comes to town?!?!?!?!
The lines to see Santa and give him their wish lists and receive candy was incredible. What a magical place we live in, where all the children get to still experience this without having to go to the local mall. P.s Santa LOVES Nicaragua…. and just an FYI….. he surfs too!!!
All the families here were stoked!!!
Including adult beverages (which you will never get at the mall – at least while visiting Santa) and all the candy any kid could ever wish for!
We had double shaka’s and double wish lists’ all at the same time!
Santa was lifting the Christmas vibes like we’ve never seen here!
The kids were excited beyond belief!
So were the BIG kiddos as well!
Even though our Wifi is slow here…. the Candy Crush was for realzzzzz!!!
These kids ain’t playin’ around! Jajajaja
Some were a little skeptical….. yah.
Some were even a bit shy……
But the all in all of todays get together was nothing short of magical and enjoyable!!!!
Santa definitely Rocked today’s show up!
I mean look at this iPhone pic…… the photo and crushed Beer in hand can says it all!!!!!
Don’t even think that the good folks of Hacienda Iguana are subject to letting only the kiddos join in on this kind of fun!
All the adults were getting in the action too!!!!
Santa takes wish lists from EVERYONE!!!!
aaaaaaaand we can’t forget his ever so helpful lady elves.
Grrrrrrrrowwwwwwww….. Santa forget that old adage about naughty kids….. What you doing buddy????? jajajaja
RECENT REPORTS
Hey everyone! Welcome to Saturday morning’s surf report from Panga Drops. The waves were very small today, but the morning window was favorable with the tide. Good for cruisin’!
