Welcome to the Friday surf report! We have new swell energy in the water and it supposed to get bigger by tomorrow. Come check it out!
When I checked it earlier there wasnāt anyone out, so I opted for the afternoon time slot. Looks like this guy was glad he opted for it too!
Sets were rolling in the well over head range. Cesar paddled out and this thing came right to him.
Here he is setting up for his first and maybe best wave of his session.
Turn number 1.
Turn number 2.
and turn number 3, with lots off pumping and bottom turns throughout the entire wave. Sick one hermano!
There was plenty of this, as there were only about 4 people out the entire time.
Wallarados is starting to fill in too. Hopefully it wonāt be as straight on tomorrow.
Phillip-O with a nice and steezy looking Tom Curren-esque bottom turn.
Followed by one of many turns all the way in for his last wave of the day.
Iāll tell you this from experienceā¦ sitting out at bigger Pangas after the sun has went down can be kind of an eerie feeling.
Especially if youāre waiting for āThat ONE last good waveā that never seems to come, as it gets darker and darker.
Lucky for Esteban this nice one came in just before it got dark.
One day hopefully in my life Iāll see the infamous āGreen Flashā. Until then, Iāll just keep pointing my camera that way every time Iām there each sunset. Chao for now guys and girls ~

Happy 4th of July! The size of the surf dropped notably today. There were still good sets, but patience was key (again). Hard to believe there were no takers on this one!
