It was one of those days to bring out all the bulkier volume boards… if you wanted to catch a lot of waves, that is.

Josh practicing his stance for the next set of big waves coming in hot next week.

Rio, proudly following in his bigger brothers foot steps; or in this case, waves!

Look at that face…. pure concentration and 100% dedication to making this wave… all while keeping perfect form and style.

This is Jett, Rio’s big brother. Ya, he’s 5 and you bet he’s already charging the big stuff!

See that certain look of pure concentration and 100% dedication.

Jeff here is just a tad older. But make no mistake, his inner surfing “grom” is always on super “Froth” mode!

Speaking of a grom of groms. John Gillem just might agree that as bad as 2020 may seem, this might be one of his top surfing years, out of all the years he’s been gliding along waves.

He makes surfing small waves (and big for that matter) always look so flipping fun!

We had some ladies out in the lineup as well. Tati loving the warm water waves just as much as the next guy.

Today reminded me of how fun it was to surf in certain parts of California (where I’m originally from) especially on the smaller and really clean warm summer days.

Oil glass conditions and head high to a little bit bigger on some sets, was the perfect playground for everyone out there this afternoon.

Just ask Koji.

Ok…. We’re gonna roll out of todays report with this shot of my good buddy Cesar doing one of his classic turns on this shimmery, finely lit 5 o’clock Nica-Nuggets. As always, thanks for stopping by! SBS is out for Friday ~
