The higher tide was definitely the call out there today. But not too high. The only high that was right was this high line that D-man was taking on this fun looking right.

I counted a total of 6 people out in the lineup today while I was shooting. Where was eveyrone? Must be surfed out from the last few days of epic swell!

Oh well, that just meant more waves for Lesther.

This would be the second time Lesther has landed back in Nicaragua this month. The first coming in hot from Guatemala and this one here, at his favorite wave, where he’s so happy to back to surfing again every day.

Compared to super early this morning, the swell still had a little left (or in this case – right) to give.

Some size, which was well overhead, was still pullsing through every now and then.

Chris was able to find some nice cover from that gnarly hot sun we had today around noon.

Adam taking a little break from his other home break. Can’t wait to see how his new home that he’s building that’s literally about 100 yards from this cutback looks once it’s all finished. Coming along nicely and so are your turns amigo!

Emilio with a pretty sick top turn of his own here if I don’t mind saying so.

Like I said only about 6 or so people out. When’s the last time your home break had such an empty lineup (not counting a beach closure)?

Ahhhh – I thought I saw another dude paddling out way down at the other end of the beach. Check it out… it’s our very own Julio from the NSR surf shop. Looks like he made it out for his lunch break; and what a time to come out to score some fun empty waves too!

Lesther must have seen that sick right firing down there and made his way other there as well.

Well if you dream of waves like this… don’t keep it as a dream, make it a reality. Alright, well it was a pretty fun day of waves, but it’s always good to rehydrate, get some good food and rest. Stop on back by tomorrow and let’s see how Miércoles looks shall we? SBS is OUT ~
