Clean, maybe? Empty, most definitely. Would you paddle out? That all depends on your stoke level!!

You really start to get to know who’s in and who’s out with all these continued unfavorable days of surf. Erin’s most definitely ALWAYS IN!

With the high number of traveling vacationers here, we like to keep a watchful eye out for the ones who haven’t really gained the knowledge of how the ocean and it’s intricacies work (i.e. rips, undertows, and bigger surf).

I’m proud to say that we like to take it upon our selves here (the ones who do know all about the ocean) and the tight nit community that we’ve learned to become here, looking out after one another. I salute all the individuals who took it upon themselves to do “ocean watch & water safety” on this heavily impacted day of vacationers; like Mr. Keven Cortez, here.

and Big Dan Springfield….

and Lesther Espinoza, whom were just a few of the selfless dedicated friends offered their free time this weekend who want to make sure this place is not only safe, but can leave people coming back time and time again with the watchful eyes of a truly caring community. Good on your guys… especially Miss Megan!!!

Because this is how powerful the ocean can be, when you least expect it!

Although I heard getting hit in the head by a coconut is one of the most common ways to see stars! Luckily this guy thought up a way to use the pool sweeper to catch some of those deadly fruits!

Sorry for the long winded PSA, but it’s always necessary to address the important facts. Especially when it comes to helping save lives. Needless to say, it’s pretty uncanny to see this hombre trying out his air game. Yeahhhhh Matt!!! Nice work above the lip buddy!

With all this rain, the rivers are certainly a-flowing! Check out this little sand bar mid stream about to huck a sick little barrel!!!

What in the shenanigans kind of wave is this???? All I can ask is, what would you do in this situation??? Let’s see how Erin would address this psychotic thing who’s trying to hide itself as an actual wave.

Yup, I would have to agree with the step off in this situation. Well played little sister!

You can see all kinds of stuffs going on this image. A really clean and somewhat glassy inside bowl that Mateo’s about to smack. But what you might not notice is all that rip out the back, which is what I was talking about earlier. Be careful amigos!

BAAAMMMMM! Who doesn’t like a top to bottom turn like this… just feels so GOOD!!

I’m just stoked I was able to see some ripping going down for todays surf report.

Arrrrgh!!! “Yo Ho Ho, it’s a Pirate’s Life for Me”!!!

Ok, so wrapping things up…. who doesn’t like a little Monday Gambling thrown on the table???? Watcha think Erin’s gonna do here??? Big Hack, Big Carve or Big Air????????

Well, if you guessed BIG AIR, you definitely follow the surf report (and Erins surfing) here pretty religiously!!! Thanks for playing!!!

Here on the NSR report we like to give as many people as possible daily shout-outs. Lucky for me and this cute couple visiting from Managua, this sly gent signaled over to me to take his pic real quick, while his novia bashfully hid in disbelief that I was actually going to point my big scary looking lens their way. Sure enough, I got this shot and I walked over to meet Brian and Andrea from the big city. See amigos, I told you I would make you famous!!! Be safe out there and enjoy the rest of your Holiday weekend. Saludos ~
