Nuclear winds AGAIN today! But tis the season of course. If you can paddle into it, you’ll have a sure bet at having a good ride today. But I strongly stress the word “IF”
My go-to amigo, ANYTIME for some surf report content, like I mentioned yesterday, is back.
Including a brand new Nica 2021 quiver and wayyyyy too much time out of the water for this fish-man!
This kid was having a great old time down the beach skim boarding…. but hey buddy. Look to your left, though!
OR, look right outside on the inside sand bar. Huuuuuuuuy, it was chucking on that low to mid tide.
If it’s chucking, you can bet Derek’s gonna wanna go find out what’s inside and maybe try and tickle the kitty’s tummy!
Taking a super sick peeeeek, but you gotta chirp out quick, you gotta save that quiver for when Colorado’s lights up. That and that new board is SUPER SICK looking! (don’t worry readers, I’m sure you’ll see a closeup shot of it soon enough!)
What was the word Derek said to me post session…… hmmm, I think he called it aaaaaahhh “Wooooo, that was a BLUSTERY session” to be exact. haha but for reals, check out John getting absolutely blasted off the back of this deep outsider from those gnarly winds.
He might of missed that first one, but he was certain to catch that second one. Yeaaaahh buddy, paddle paddle paddle get into that thing!
There’s no way the photos can even do justice to how howling the offshores were out there!
Here at least I’m safe from the shelter of my favorite banzai tree in all of Nicaragua.
Here Derek’s not safe from anything, especially that huge floater he’s about to try and land. Duder, you were really giving that new Fowler a complete work-over today!
That midday sun is BeeeeeR U T A L ! ! ! ! Even though those winds make it seem like the sun isn’t even touching your body, just don’t forget to cover up with the sun screen. Be safe, have fun and I’ll be back again mañana…. Yewwww ~
RECENT REPORTS
Hey amigos! Welcome to March 1st’s surf report from French Fries. The waves were really fun in the late morning and early afternoon. The wind direction was perfect, but then flipped side-shore right as I went to grab my board haha.
FROM THE ARCHIVES
Happy Sunday Funday from sunny Nicaragua! I wanted to mix it up a little and since I haven’t been out swimming for some time, I thought I’d shoot the report from out in the lineup. Here’’s what I captured….
