Somewhere in Nicaragua
Happy Sunday amigos! That swell did come in a bit, but it was a little weird and funky. Some times in the day it was ON, and other times is was just weird and wonky and had all these weird rip currents. Needless to say, There were still some people out and getting their fair share of the fun and weird all at the same time!
I mean look at this odd mutant of a wave. Really it’s a pretty decent wave, it’s just got a lot of that rippy whitewater current in it.
Some people opted for the breaks north. Who knows? Maybe they made the right call and scored?
BUT then you see this come through a few minutes later and exactly what I said…. it was super weird out there today. It was like beauty and the beast waves!
Mr. Barry on a inside dredger. Come on baby pull into that freakozoid shorpounder!
This one looking a little tamer and more clean. Barry is officially on full time vacation. No more class for Teacher! YEY!!!
Then those bigger sets would occasionally roll through, like this one. Oli couldn’t have be in a more better take off spot. A little deeper and I’m sure he would have gotten mowed down. Further down the line and he would have certainly not gotten the barrel
Like this one, which is the same exact wave.
Of course there’s always some carnage!
If you’re gonna go down, go down BIG and with some style while you’re at it!
Oli on other perfect one. There were a lot of growers out there, that seemed to just get bigger and more square the further down the line they went.
Heeeeeooooolllowwwwww, I bet there’s an echo in that nice cavern.
The view is even more spectacular I imagine!
Then to get spit out like this…. priceless!!!!!
