Somewhere in Nicaragua
Happy Monday and welcome to todays surf report. How’s everyone feeling after the festive weekend? Today was another day of onshore winds, but sunny for most the morning and the surf was so mixed up and worked over from all the bad weather; not to mention the grey looming clouds making their way west towards the coast. While I anxiously waited out the timing game with the high tide versus the oncoming rain, I didn’t know what to do??? Well, step inside for the report and I’ll show you how it all turned out.
So believe it or not, the rain finally came well after noon, maybe around 2 or 3 o’clock, but as my predictions panned out, the water completely glassed off (well for the most part) but the nice swell we have out in the water right now was going off on the low tide going out quickly and the conditions became primo!
I mean just check out that water texture, oh and also check out Johns sick giant roundhouse wrap around. They both were a beautiful thing to see this afternoon!
YESSS!!!!! Haha – Someone besides me was super stoked for the storm cleanup! Check that heaving lip on that wave out the back. It was ON!!!
Yeah, I mean it was that kind of ON!!!
Groomed, glassy, light offshores…. complete total 180 flip from most of today and the last few days actually.
Get it while the getting was good. If you were out there this afternoon… you scored some pretty darn magical waves!
Both the right and lefts were firing.
How’d you like to be slotting in this perfectly shaped wave, (I mean it doesn’t get any better than this shape for barrels).

The lighting was epic too…. everything in that magic moment of a what nobody would have thought today would have coughed up.
Putting the exclamation on todays late afternoon session with a big fat DOT at the end.
