Somewhere in Nicaragua
Welcome back for another beautiful day of surfing and sunny sky’s (at least before that ever repeating afternoon storm came in). The mornings seem to have been the best windows for the better surf (with the exception of that other day – super gnarly thunder, lighting and rain storm early in the morning) but other than that, if you can get out there early the sun has been out. Like todays morning conditions, they were pristine and gorgeous! Check it out.
The check out crew, spot, meeting place and otherwise best known as the location that looks directly at your favorite wave…. Playa Colorados. Not a bad place to roll up to, to check out the waves.
Ahhhh-haaaa….. so that’s what everyone was looking at!
See, like I said… pristine conditions this AM. Sick turn hermano. What an epic morning of waves eh?
The crowds have been pretty much 50/50 boys and girls or should I say damas y caballeros out there sharing the lineup. And the ladies have been showing the guys Whats UP!
Not WhatsApp, but ya know….. WHAT’S UP!!! Boys you better step up your A-game!

While young Finley is about to do the same exact thing. But that’s what we all live for right? Perfect Aqua green waves that look like this to carve our initials in.
Hahahhaaa you know what’s actually really funny? These types of photos usually get the commonly used straight up, High noon, 12 o’clock, etc etc… but when I looked at the actual time stamp when this photo was captured, it was exactly 11:20. I’d say he’s pretty spot on, looking at that angle.
Derek’s more of a 9:15 kind of guy, but that could be Am or PM. am is coffee time, and PM would be jamming on his 6 string time. All 3 things are some of his favorite, of course surfing being Numero Uno!!!
Some people have to sit at a desk on Tuesdays (I feel ya, I did it for years). Hey everyone! I hope you all had a great Fourth! Saturday’s report is coming your way from Colorados as per usual. It was smaller today, but very shreddable. Still a few tubitos too.
Happy 4th of July! The size of the surf dropped notably today. There were still good sets, but patience was key (again). Hard to believe there were no takers on this one!
