Hola damas y caballeros! Welcome to your Tuesday surf report. It was another fun day of waves, especially if you timed it right before that super big high tide. Lots of friendly faces out in the lineup sharing waves, so don’t waste anymore time and jump on in to check out all the action!
Afternoon barrels… not too many out there as the tide was rising so it kinda slowed things down a bit for some mini kegs. But the consistency and non stop break in waves that kept coming it certainly kept me constantly on the trigger and on my toes.
A lot, I mean a whole lot of ladies out in the water today.
And ripping too!
I think this is the most female surfers I’ve ever seen here in one season alone.

Yeaaaaaah, GREAT to see Big D back home. Yewwwww buddy… I bet you’ve already been bombarded with heaps of orders for your delectable homemade cinnamon rolls that everyone had to live without for all that entire time you were back in the states. Welcome back buddy!
One of the hardest things about shooting is anyone and everyone surfers pretty much from first light to last light which is a good 12-13 hours of windows of surfing on any given day but I just physically cannot be there for that many hours. Tati here, is always stoked when the stars align and I am shooting when she’s out (it’s an inside joke that we just never seem to lineup) but today we got a little lucky, eh!
New faces have been arriving and on constant turnaround for everyone making Nica more than likely one of their first surf vacations after being locked away from wherever they’re coming from for pretty much all of 2020.
Super clean and the weather was impeccable. The waves weren’t too bad either!

And how steezy is Jackson’s huge punt?!?!?! Today was definitely a great day to be surfing here in Nica-Land!
Contemplating on going back out…. it happens A LOT here! Happy 4th of July! The size of the surf dropped notably today. There were still good sets, but patience was key (again). Hard to believe there were no takers on this one!
