. . . . . Wait, what??? Check out Pangas….. OR IS IT?
Hahahaha – which one would you choose? Left or right? Ya’ll remember Señor Parker Hannas (aka HotStickHannas, ya?) Well, of course you do! Unless you were living somewhere under a rock while he was here for a few years acting as one of our favorite staff concierge / surf report photographers. Well he sent me a Whatsapp message early this morning saying it was supposed to be waist high waves today (where he lives back in the frigid cold weather on the East Coast, which was then followed up of a video of him making snow angles in his wetsuit Jajajaja – that’s so totally Parker too….. so BOOM the idea came to fruition. Hey, why not make a contrast surf report of here verses there. So here ya go!!! *** Also special thanks to Parkers lovely and quite talented photog I must say, Amy his awesome new wifey for the pics!
Here’s rolling up to the reef late morning, tide draining and the air temp maybe around 80 degrees give or take. Nobody out.
And here’s Parkers winter wonderland. Looks like nobody out there either…. I wonder why? LOL
Ahhhh…. he has always been a man of his word to this day. Looks like him and his bestie & also long time NSR guest, William Jordan are gonna go hit them chilly waist high waves and it even looks offshore too!
OK, I won’t torture you anymore, since probably majority of you reading this already see and have to deal with enough cold weather right now as it is… but on a personal note from me the Ed… them sure are some purdy looking images Aims!!!! Cold, but stunning all at the same time, really. Kinda like this gal walking to the nose, but having the luxury of only needing a bikini and warm tropical water.
Such a contrast those last few pics eh? But we’ll keep it rolling, like putting logs on a fire to keep you nice and warm. Just look at all these hot ripping surfing pics and you’ll be all toasty and maybe be inspired to open up that airline website and book a flight down here!!! 😉
Doc literally gunning it, on his gun, down this long long line on this right that seemed to never end!
Funny thing is, the waves were actually just about equal in size today.
Just a lot less neoprene needed here, luckily.
Beautiful surfing and gorgeous backdrop. . . . now I want you to focus past the lovely lady and imagine those hills in the background covered with snow!?!?!
The only white almost all of the local people here have seen is either sea salt made up the road in the salt flats, or big plumes of whitewater when the surfs BIG or surfers throw big maneuvers.
Here’s one more to keep the warm tropical stoke alive for all you living way up in the northern and super duper southern regions. Yah, we got you too South America!
Here’s to another beautiful sunny day here in Nica-Land, our favorite day of the week, Sunday Funday!
And here’s what Panga Drops would look like if it ever did snow here. . . and if someone stole or took away Los Perros!! Jajajaja – Burrrrr!!!!
Well, it’s quitting time for these warn out fishermen. Hope you enjoyed todays Nica vs the Northern Cold split report; AND saludos to Amy and Parker for the pics….. Muchísimas Gracias ~
