Somewhere in Nicaragua
Howdy folks! Bienvenido al Miércoles surf report. We still have plenty of swell in the water, if it were just a little more peaky, it would be all time with this nice juicy swell we have. But it was a great day to be down at the playa regardless, where everyone was either spectating or out there catching some super fun waves! Enjoy ~
Still some big drops out there, as you can see!
And some solid and thick barrels. . . but really fast!!
A couple chica’s were out there too. Nice looking wave!!
Kev surfing pretty dang good for coming off a recently healed up broken foot.
This is a great example of when and where you choose to do your artistic style of surfing. Straight up rail game on point and doing a turn where most people would be doing something completely different. Thats why I love surfing so much!
You now who loves surfing, well maybe a close second to his skate boarding. . . THIS GUY!!! El Señor Lobo, trekking his way all the way from El Salvador, and of course he had to stop by with his traveling companions and awesome doggies to get a little taste of the nectar of Nicaragua! Yeah Lobo -OWOOOOOO!!!!
This is his first day here surfing….. I can’t wait to see him skate!

The local rippers / regulars were out there as well. Kevin Cortez on a freshly baked “Stretch” getting as vertical as you can on a super crispy clean glassy perfect left.
Meanwhile, Jeynner from SJDS, who makes PC his go to spot when it’s firing here in the southern region, boosting a big air over this messy end section!

Hey everyone! Welcome to Saturday’s surf report from Playa Colorado. There was a window early today and right at sunset. At mid-day when I took pictures the wind kicked up making for better turn sections than tubes. Still a few if you knew where to look.
