Bienvenido Domingo funday, or as you always know it, Welcome to the Sunday Funday surf report!!!! Can I just say WOW! So checkout what the aftermath of tropical storm “Bonnie” left behind for us early this morning….!!!
Yeaaaaah, me too! I was like Uhhhhh, where’s all the brown water? Where’s all the grey skies and gloomy weather. Well, today we all woke to what will hopefully be a GREAT omen for a super fantastic July!
SUPER crystal clear water, light offshore winds and this guy out there saying it AND spraying it Loud & Proud, HELLLLLLLZ YES!!!!
A little yoga stretches before this guy hits the beautiful early morning sunlit waves!
You know the old saying, “whoever is having the most fun when surfing is the best surfer out there”. . well I think Bauti won on every single wave he caught. This one in particular doing a cross between the coffin and the cockroach, all while attempting to get shacked. Hahahaha Yeah Bauti!!!
But here’s how he normally surfs when he’s not goofing around. How sick were this mornings conditions eh??

But that top turn though…. EPIC buddy!!!
To think it rained, no it tropical storm rained almost all yesterday and the night before and this is what the waves looked like today.
INCREDIBLE!!!! Just absolutely INCREDIBLE!!!!
Some people were trying to make the rain come back…. no, please, I think we’re good for a little while hahaha!

Here’s to freaking July mates!!! Saw a lot of good friends down at the beach today, who just arrived; and I know of some more coming. My fingers are double crossed for you guys. Might have picked just the right time to come amigos!!!
One of the (surprisingly) fews tree that a drifted and made its way to the playa from the river mouth. I think we’ll recover Bonnie! But thank you for the watering of the lush jungle. I will SEE YOU ALL for the next few days. Happy 4th of July! The size of the surf dropped notably today. There were still good sets, but patience was key (again). Hard to believe there were no takers on this one!
Hey amigos! Welcome to Thursday’s surf report from Playa Colorado. I saw some of the biggest sets of the year today. There were epic moments, but it was still a bit slow between the high quality waves.
Hey everyone! Josh back behind the lens for a few days. The swell today is the largest it has been in about two weeks. It was still slow between the sets, but there were a few one hour windows and pulses.

It’s the weekend and there is a bit of swell in the water and the sun is shining down on the waves like putting a spotlight on the stage that is Colorado. We gonna take a look at some morning high tide waves as well as some afternoon low tide bombs so come with me..
