Somewhere in Nicaragua
Hola amigos! Well that swell that was forecast came in as planned, not super big, (being that I’ve seen the forecast reading 3-5 and it’s been way bigger than that) but that’s the norm for down here…. every day and swell can be completely what the swell forecast says, and other times its completely off. But today there ewer some really fun waves out there, so come on in and check it out!
Ok, so a few feet bigger on the larger sets, but it there was a bit of some wait time in-between the ones like this.
My buddy Cesar from Brazil going after this rather clean left, as he tried to get around that funky weird ripple in the wave face.

And then BAAAAM!!! Cracking one off the top!
The tadpoles were dominating the inside shore break, especially with that quickly high tide coming up, there were actually some micro-grom fun sized playful little waves throwing right onto the sand.
The bigger kids (haha – ya, like maybe 6, 7 or maybe 8 if that were out there with the big boys showing them what they’ve got up their sleeves!

and then of course, it was all about the conveyor belt today. Select and choose the better wave of the set ride it all the way in and paddle back out and repeat!
It was a pretty mellow Monday, but who knows, maybe tomorrow will have a bit more energy with hopefully a lot more consistency.
