No whitecaps, which is a good sign. But then again in just a couple months, it’ll be completely blowout out (to sea) offshore madness white capping as far as the eyes can see.
Flags, really great indicators for exactly knowing which way the winds are going. These kinds of simple but invaluable little pieces of material have been used for years. Think of those coned shaped orange markers at every single airport around the world. Somethings still withstand the tests of time, no matter how well the technology gets.
As for surfing, todays airs (not the wind direction) but the aeronautical classes that were going down were going BIG!
I mean REALLY BIG!!!
Josh almost looking like an Iguana here in the Hacienda of Iguana’s, blending right in with this wave, even though he’s literally ripping the entire wave face to shreds!
Nacho dropping the wallet on this deep incision, but even though how sick and stylish this cutty is, he can’t afford to lose his wallet right now, especially with a newborn little hija (baby). But on a non joking matter, Great to see the Shred Dr. back doing surgeries!
Swell in the water, ramp sections for days. . . watcha gonna do??
Blaaaaaaast OFFFF!!!! One of my new amigos coming all the way from Israel. Funny how many new friends I’m making with so many people coming to Nicaragua all the way from half way around the world. We all actually know the same people from back home where they all live. It’s certainly a very close nit surfing community there! Hola Yanai BTW!!!! Jajajaja I know you’re pissing your pants laughing if you’re reading this Yanai
One thing’s for sure, surfing is a universal (not sport) but what many don’t know, or really even think about is that it’s a compete lifestyle. Always has and always will be! That’s what makes is so special!
Brothers from a couple different mothers! haha – Safe travels to SJDS amigos, hopefully we’ll meet up again when you come back…. if you come back? Don’t get eaten by the Sunday Funday madness in the town that never sleeps!
If there were ever a picture that’s perfectly fit FOR a Sunday Funday, it’d be right here, with these 3 Representantes de Nicaragua! Smiles for miles and hearts bigger than you can ever imagine! RECENT REPORTS
Hey everyone! Welcome to Tuesday’s surf report from Panga Drops. The swell was notably stronger than I expected. Some early season Pacific power! Middle peak was the place to be, but it was windy.
FROM THE ARCHIVES
Welcome back for the Saturday surf report and an early A.M. sample of waves that are crashing upon our coast this morning. Father and son team eyeing the waves before the paddle out and when you see another grom going to the air it is all the inspiration needed to go charge it.
