Despite all those whitecaps out the back, it’s a good thing that the surf here isn’t a cloud break or an outer reef that you need to paddle (or take a boat way out to sea for). This little ripper was enjoying the inside empty section with todays midday medium tide with hardly anyone else out.
This photo might have you thinking…. but he said there was more swell out there today??
Well… I could post photos of everything in-between the smallest out there to the days biggest, but I’ll reassure you, there was certainly some bigger and super fun waves out there. Like Carlos is playing around on here.
Here ya go! Taking off from the main peak and definitely setting up for something juicy. . . .
Add a little froth to it and you have yourself a midday Carvaccino’!! hahaha ya, I just made that up.
Here’s a better perspective of the size and the lines that were stacking in.
This section of the wave is notorious for the perfect setup for a big huge bottom turn, followed by one giant swooping wrap around. Almost every single time.
BUT. . . today it had just enough ummmff to huck out just enough for a couple of cover ups.
And yes, he came out clean, actually!
Hahahaha, even had the grom looking in aweee!!!! Oki dokie amigos. RECENT REPORTS
Hey everyone! Welcome to Tuesday’s surf report from Panga Drops. The swell was notably stronger than I expected. Some early season Pacific power! Middle peak was the place to be, but it was windy.
FROM THE ARCHIVES
Happy Monday folks! Tis a new week and it was a beautiful morning. Waves are back down in the waist high range, but the waters warming back up and the winds were light offshore. Not a bad way to start off the week, eh!
