Still a little bit chilly, as you can see quite a few people out there donning the neoprene tops. But it’s still tropical. Unknown barrel hunter, coming from around the corner, looking for a good morning cover up!

Been trying to hit the tide right around when it’s been coming off the high to medium tide. TZ hitting this little backside section (sin camisa).

Whitecaps out the back, a sure sign of the wind factor. Good thing the inside stays a little calmer. Plenty of people out this AM. This kid has the far bar dialed!!

I think I gave it a waist to chest high range. Couple little bigger ones. . . . occasionally.

Other than those, it was almost all skatepark with wave pool like little barrels.

Like this here.

Some nice floaters thrown into the mix as well.

Looks like that inside right barrel section of the “GOAT’S” personal wave pond, eh??

Churned up sand barrels and it’ll only get more churned up as the tide drops out more. Sure can’t wait for our next swell!!!!

No matter what humans do, mother nature will always follow her own rules and instincts! The newest and latest seawall to (try) and help keep that forever demanding river mouth that has long before there were any people here flow where it’s made its way to the ol’ ocean for decades, and or more likely even longer. That being said. . . We’re only here for the time being. . . nature will be around forever! So enjoy the day and soak up life to its fullest! Hope you all have a fantastic one and I will see you later this weekend. RECENT REPORTS

Hello Saturday, We have some small but well shaped waves this morning at Playa Colorado. @tonyzphotos reporting.
FROM THE ARCHIVES

t’s that time for your Tuesday dose of surf… had a long day, but ended up making it down for the PM session at the reef. Winds were bonkers blowing sideways, so the waves were a bit mixed up, but there’s definitely some good swell in the water!
