Somewhere in Nicaragua
Welcoming in May with a special report actually from super early this AM. As things go, even in paradise, not everything always goes as planned, BUT that’s the beauty (sort of) by not having to be on an exact schedule like back in zombie work-mode land, we get the luxury of “taking it easy” or much like “Hawaiian Time” Nica time is very similar! Anyhow, getting up at the crack of dawn and shooting some new amigos started the day off just fine….. check it out!!
Getting to the beach at 5:45AM has it’s benefits!

It was our good friends last day here, so we hoped for the best, even though there departure time was scheduled well before most people were even up and the tide was at dead low.

Unless we have some legitimate swell and it even helps to have a little combo mixed in, todays morning session was a little frustrating and walled up; but even though this was their first trip to Nicaragua. they all felt the potential and promised to be back soon!
Last day or first day, when you plan a surf trip, you come ready to PLAY!!!

I assured them by showing some photos I’ve taken over the last decade that they will come back and be more than happy!!!
After living here for so long and seeing or meeting new friends from around the globe, it’s hard to see them catch this place in it’s mediocre level.
BUT, I’ve never seen a single person leave this place unhappy, no matter the size, conditions, or feeling of what Nicaragua has to offer!
