Hi everybody! Welcome to the Wednesday surf report. Another day of fun swell and crisp offshore winds. How was this riderless keg?
There were lots of excited surfers out today. Get out there boys! Don’t let another nugget come through unclaimed!
Dani Cruche getting low and on-rail on this insider left. Lucy is hardcore, so I bet she was taking notes on Dani here. She’s mentally out there even when she’s not actually out there haha!
The weather was beautiful and the water was fine! This family seemed to be making the most of our slice of paradise here in Hacienda Iguana.
Sophie smiling wide like usual 🙂 I like her eye-wear here. My eyes got so fried last week, so I definitely empathize with the effort to reduce the glare from the sun.
Cesar must’ve liked what he saw while walking down the path to surf, as he cranked up his pace as he approached the water’s edge.
Yeah Nami! This right-hander ran a little slow, but his pig-dog form is really good here.
The lone ranger sitting furthest South of the crowd was rewarded with this sandy right! I sometimes enjoy the thick, sandy tubes even more than the green perfect barrels.
Nicole was out with all the fellas today and snagged a few great rides! She did well to navigate the traffic on this one LOL
Even the rare and super elusive right was working a the middle of the beach. Or was it? Haha it’s a “mirage” guys, but a pretty one.
Family shred sesh! Emi, Jett, and Rio prepping for their mid-morning session.
Rio took the spotlight today! Yeah buddy! Way to get low and over your toes on this little peeler! How funny is Emi just barely at the surface to monitor Rio’s ride?
What?! I did a double take because I thought it was Jett on this left at first. Turns out it was Rio on this bomb (for him). Props to Rio for having the courage to go on this one.
Emi and Lorynn, what have you guys been feeding Rio LOL? He looks like he’s put on 5 pounds of muscle since the last time I saw him. Strength —> Confidence —> Committing on Bigger Waves
To close out today’s surf action we have a perfect barrel. This guy probably got the longest tube of the day. I always enjoy these shots were you can see the surfer through the lip.
