There weren’t tons of good waves out there, but when they came they were good. Unfortunately, this below sea-level right snuck North of the surfers in the water.
There were two or three surfers camped out way down South in front of Pili’s restaurant / the beach club. The sets were inconsistent there, but the lefts were good there when they did come through. I think these few guys were goofy-footers so it makes sense that they were willing to be so patient down there for the lefts.
Although most of the surfers were on tube patrol, a few of the more active surfers were getting some rail action. This local guy blowing some speed off with a layback hack.
Back down South, a wide open left managed to sneak underneath the goofy-footers’ radars. This would’ve been a nice, moderately paced tube for someone! Oh well.
This guy up at Pangas found a nice left. He was easy to spot with his big, bright blue board.
The beach was really hot this morning! This guy did well to pig-dog on this hollow mini-right and find some shade.
Pangas doing its best to rival Colorados today! It almost looks like this guy could’ve got barreled on this one?
Lock & Load!
Boom! A big backside boost to close out Wednesday’s surf action. Gigante’s boats making a background cameo here as well.
A few niños going to scope out the rocks which separate Colorados and Amarillo. The tides are extreme at the moment, which makes it possible to walk around the rocks to Amarillo at low tide. I’m a creature of convenience, so I’m happy to hang in Iguana, but this could be something worth scoping out at low tide if you are here on vacation. That’s all for today everyone, I hope you enjoyed some of the blue jolly-rancher tubes we received today! Tomorrow looks like it will be a bit smaller, but I’m sure there’ll be plenty of fun going on for the report 🙂
RECENT REPORTS
Hey amigos! Welcome to Tuesday’s surf report from Panga Drops. This lady either ended up a bit later than anticipated or misunderstood what it means to get barreled haha! I’ve got to give her credit for looking at this wave though. You don’t know if you don’t go (or at least look at going).
