Somewhere in Nicaragua
Howdy everyone! Here’s Thursday’s surf action from Colorados. The size of the surf has dropped even further again, but the local Nicaraguan shredders cleaned house again today.
Here’s a good sequence of rotation on display from this guy on an inside peeler.
A rooster tail combined with a lip slide. Shred-tastic!
Drop the hammer! Getting on rail and rotating nicely on the second maneuver from this repeat visiting ripper.
Alrighty, time for the local boys to take the spotlight! Lesther flicking his fins high on this inside launchpad.
Jackson Obando? More like Hack-son Obando! Look at all that spray…
Jackson putting up his best Superman pose on this backside air-reverse. Speed of lightning, roar of thunder, fighting all who rob or plunder!
Oscar showing his power off as well! His core has to be freakishly strong. Textbook form and he threw a huge semi-circle of spray.
I wonder if Emi likes root-beer floats? Regardless he stuck a nice floater on this little inside runner.
I think Oscar won the heat hands down today. This guy was fired up today. He definitely showcased the most power I’ve seen in a while.
Even the relatively soft inside sections weren’t safe from Oscar’s wrath.
Lesther flexing his strength for us as well. Don’t fade the Nica fuerza!
I wonder if Oscar’s been watching some Spiderman lately? Looks like he’s flexing his hand to shoot some web haha. I’d be willing to speculate that this is Oscar’s favorite board of all time.
To finish today’s surf action, we have a flashy layback snap from a skilled surfer down the beach.
Get out there Lucas! Another report of surfers tearing our playful waves to bits. It’s been so nice to have such consistent surf so far this month of September, hopefully the trend continues! Happy humpity hump Wednesday everyone! Another gorgeous day out there on the water. Swell is in about the 3-4 (occasional) 5 foot range, nice light offshores and the lighting was spectacular!
Happy Tuesday friends! We had an amazing day of nice sizable waves, WITH offshore winds and all there fixin’s for hopefully another one of those “September Sessions” kind of seasons. Jump in and get cyber barreled along with those who were out there today!
Welcome back for another week and your Monday surf report, from your’s truly SBS! Another day of onshore winds… I was getting pretty sad as there wasn’t anyone out surfing the few times I checked it. But if you’re a regular reader here of the Nicaragua Surf Report, you know this place well enough to know..
