Koji came out flying this morning. He’s going for the rail grab too!

The water color has been beautiful lately with less rip currents pushing through the lineup. This guy got a nice ride on this right, but I think he could’ve squeezed into the barrel if he’d pig-dogged the drop.

Kevin and Elise couldn’t let all the visitors catch all the waves haha! They both had higher volume equipment which was a good move given the lack of swell.

This guy in black was out there hacking away this morning.

He didn’t leave anything on the table with this inside section blast. Full powah!

Elise showing some of her signature style, five toes over the nose.

A nice rooster tail from this guy on this right.

Elise working on her double hand drag here for the next time we get a bigger swell. Prepping for some tube time!

Whoosh! Ryan McGill thrusting some buckets out the back with a good sequence of rotation.

Yuji was our little lucky leprechaun today… You’ll see why later in the report.

Koji made some new friends! Or are they photo-bombing him? Either way I don’t usually see these unique birds with skinny beaks flying out over the water.

The moment we’ve all been waiting for… Yuji’s 10 pointer.

This wave hit the bar perfectly and lined up so nice for Yuji.

It was a fast wave, so he had to work in a few quick pumps.

He got really deep and even wrestled with a little rip underneath his board through the last part of the barrel.

He’s pretty much made it…

And he’s securely made it out! The crowd goes wild! 10 pointer and heat winner of the day haha!

Adam Miller cruising with grace on a fun looking longboard.

Nosedive! Oh well, it happens to everyone occasionally. At least this girl had the guts to commit and send it on this late drop!

I wasn’t expecting to capture such an action packed report today given the smaller size, but the mid-tide and good mix of surfers provided! Tomorrow looks like it should be fairly similar, probably a touch smaller. Given the skill level of the locals and visitors I think there will be plenty of shredding going down though, so be sure to stop back by for tomorrow’s report!
RECENT REPORTS

Hey amigos! Welcome to Saturday evening’s surf report from Colorados. The size of the waves dropped even more today, but it still had its moments.
FROM THE ARCHIVES

Top of the mornin’ to ya’ll!!! Well, I tried to get down there really early to see if I could maybe have a chance at beating the onshore winds, but they just won’t let up. So I think it’s gonna be another lay-day for surf, unfortunately. The good news is things should be switching back..

Welcome back to another week in Nica-Land, aka surfers paradise! Today was another gorgeous day out there and there certainly wasn’t any shortage of surfers either. I guess everyone got the memo and what time and tide to be on it! Jaja jump on in and check it out to see if you made today’s..
