PANGA DROPS
Hello everyone, remember me? This is Baldo back at it covering Josh with today’s surf report. How’s 2024 treating everyone so far? I wish us all a great year for surfing!
What would this time of the year be without Panga Drops? Most of the breaks are flat and/or blown out by the wind, and look at Pangas!
It was not perfect at all but definitely way more fun and bigger than any other spots in the area.
A few months ago, a renter left behind his broke-in-half almost-new mid-length board so, I took it to Riderz Ding Repair in Limon 2 and they did a great job putting it together, even matching the color, you can’t even tell it was broken in half at all… perfect for Panga Drops!
I tried the board a few days ago at Pangas, before this little swell hit… the board went exactly how I picture it, it’s a twin fin with several channels at the tail, it goes fast on the flats and so responsive on the turns. I’m so excited to go tomorrow to, hopefully, get the last piece on the swell.
Aleluya! raise your hands if you ever have found the perfect board for your local break?
It doesn’t matter if you don’t have the perfect board, still raise your hands for been at Pangas having fun when the forecast says it’s 2 feet, Aleluya!
Check it out! if you are in the right spot and pick the right wave, you could even get your head under the hood and get some shade under that lip!
Jonathan and Daniel are proof that life is better living by the ocean, spending their free time between beach volleyball, surfing, and now pickleball.
