While Colorado is dormant, we all are thankful for having Panga Drops as our backup surfing spot, a place that never fails, small or big.
Super fun peaks with mostly long rights and some short, fat lefts.
Panga is all about the style… at least when the waves are small and fat.
The reason I’m doing the surf report the last few days is because our dear surf reporter Josh Springfield has been in the hospital in Managua for the last 3 days. He got a stomach infection and I don’t know what else. He is in good care at the Metropolitan Hospital, and getting better little by little.
Maybe Josh just needed a break from the flat spell we’ve been having for the last few weeks? His stomach couldn’t handle another day without a barrel at Colorados
Don’t worry Josh, sometimes you can find some little shade here at Panga Drops, you just need to be patient!
With no waves anywhere else, Panga Drops is turning into a traffic madness (Nicaraguan standards, of course).
With the right board and the right wave, there is still some sprays to throw around, this guy was killing it!
I’ll be back tomorrow with more waves and maybe some other things to do around inside Hacienda Iguana. Have a great weekend!
RECENT REPORTS
Hey amigos! Welcome to Tuesday’s surf report from Panga Drops. This lady either ended up a bit later than anticipated or misunderstood what it means to get barreled haha! I’ve got to give her credit for looking at this wave though. You don’t know if you don’t go (or at least look at going).
