Mike Doan fanning his rooster tail this AM.

Aha! It wouldn’t be a proper surf session for Mike Doan if he didn’t complete his signature backside chop-hop.

Mike was on a tear this morning! Not just taking flight, but finding some shade too.

An unknown shredder demonstrating some smooth but functional mechanics on this left.

Mike slashing away up at the Northern peak. I think I saw him paddle back and forth two or three times between the Northern and Southern peaks haha. Mike stays active out there.

A nice little boost to finish this wave.

If it wasn’t clear before, it should be very clear now that Mike was the MVP and champ of this morning’s surf window.

Another nice slash from an unknown surfer making lemonade from this morning’s lemons.

The air was rather humid today, so it was steamy out. The sunshine was beautiful and the clear sky made for a great beach day. These guys have the right idea to whip out the portable tent and bodyboards for some warm weather beach fun. I just checked Surfline and Windguru and tomorrow looks like it could be even better. What an uncharacteristically good February? Maybe it’s some good wave Karma coming back our way from the effectively flat surf season we had last year haha.
RECENT REPORTS

Hey everyone! Welcome to Friday’s surf report from Colorados. It was another small, but fun day of waves. Looks like the last mellow day for a good eight to nine days. Finley managed to find a couple of tubitos.
