John teeing up and floating a mushy end-section on the go-to board for grovel, the Wavestorm!
The shore-break was extra erratic and exciting from the side-winder waves generated by the cross-shore wind. This bodyboarder making the most of shore-break slammers.
John fully economized on his surf session this afternoon by working in some stretching too! Genius haha!
Jeison and Finley paddled out on shortboards to prove to us spectators that Pangas is still shortboard-able even when it is tiny!
I’ll be generous and give John some lavish praise for this roundhouse. Good speed, vision, and sequence of rotation. *Clapping in the background*.
Lucy told me prior to paddling out that she wanted to nail one really good shot before I packed up and left. She succeeded with this front-side lip blast. Schwappah!
The lady surfers always draw plenty of eyeballs in the lineup haha! I guess most “gurfers” are used to that these days though.
The infamous Tombstone. A flawless example of one, at that. R.I.P.
There was a lot of action at Pangas and up at Villas Iguanas this afternoon! I don’t think too many good waves snuck through without riders. Although today was smaller than I expected, there were still some playful waves. I think tomorrow we will have similar conditions, so if you’ve been enjoying the small but rippable surf, then be sure to check back in tomorrow!
