The only real crowd (which was only about 4 other surfers) came over by boat.
We also had our first rain (or in this case) drizzle of the year. I think that’s a pretty good omen. Rain, right in the beginning of January.
Could be a sign for a good year with water and waves!
This was the only local kid out and he was having a blast getting all the waves he wanted to himself.
If surfing isn’t your cup of tea, you can always jump in on a serious game of beach soccer.
If it’s ever anytime past 4 o’clock you can aways count on seeing this guy out in the lineup.
Cesar, almost getting the cover up. Buddy you should have backdoor’d that little nugget!
There ya go Papa!!! Nice wrapping turn!!!
Once those rain clouds past and were long gone over the horizon, it was all golden hour delight time!
RECENT REPORTS
Hola amigos! Welcome to Wednesday’s surf report from Panga Drops. The tide was a bit lower by the time I got around to shooting today, so there was more action at mid-peak than the side-peaks. The wind was stronger today, but it was a little bigger today too.
Hey everyone! Welcome to Tuesday’s surf report from Panga Drops, once again we’re talking French Fries. The waves were smaller today, but the shape was arguably slightly better than yesterday. The wind was also a touch lighter.
Hey amigos! Josh back behind the lens for next set of days. Monday’s surf report is coming your way from Panga Drops, specifically “French Fries”. The swell was close to non-existent, but Pangas did its magic and magnified the lackluster size into something playful and shreddable.
FROM THE ARCHIVES
Buen día amigos! Another fine day at the playa today. Waves were a tad smaller, but there were still some fun waves, the sun was out and the winds were offshore. Always something to be grateful here in the land of waves-O-plenty!
