Somewhere in Nicaragua
Well, we are now into “that” time of year here in Nicaragua. January is traditionally the slowest month for waves here. We’ll get maybe one or two good swells this month if we are lucky. Right now, it’s pretty flat.
On the other hand, this is a great time to longboard or to learn to surf. The weather is warm, the water is cool and everything is still green from the long rainy season that just ended.

Hey amigos! Welcome to Thursday afternoon’s surf report from Pangas and French Fries. The swell didn’t drop nearly as much as forecasted, but it was a little bit smaller. It was very clean and pulsing while I took pictures.
