Somewhere in Nicaragua
Hi folks, we are Roberto and Jairo with very bad news for you. We wouldn’t like to say this but everyone have to know about it. One of our best friend father’s is dead, we are talking about Danilo “Kambute’s” Herrera father. It’s so hard for us to tell you this but this happened last night around 7:00 pm. Here is kambute with a shot from last year having fun at Machete pt, we don’t know if he is going to be out in the water as always because he’s missing a very important person in his life. We are so sorry buddy!!!
More of the same out here at Maderas again, it’s running about chest to shoulder high on sets but it’s kind of strange because the bigger sets coming in are closing out. The water finally is warm and the wind is offshore, check it out.
Oliver “El Jamon de Mono” Solis made it out this morning and was floating and shredding all over the place. Here he is going right.
Here is Gabriel “Chancho con Yuca” Sanchez taking off a nice looking right. This guy stayed out here at Maderas camping last night waiting for some waves to score.
This is Pedro “El Cacaste” Flores smacking a close out wave. Hey Pedro, how is everything doing with your new friend?
Here is one more shot of Oliver, this time shredding on the left. Hey buddy, you looks so lighter with your new haircut. He’s traveling to Boca del Toro and Salsa Brava the next week with a couple of local friends, so he was needing the haircut because he had many lices in there and he wouldn’t be allow to cross the border. Just kidding bro!!!
Augusto “La Gaviota” paddled out in the morning too and was able to ride some small but fun waves. Here he is improving his maneuvers on the small ones.

This is Roberto with the report for today. We have not change about waves size, It’s pretty small and almost nobody was out but It’s still fun for longboard. It’s waist high on sets and the wind is howling offshore. Check it out.
We’ve got a slight bump in the swell today at Maderas. I’ll call it waist high with offshore winds. It’s not big, but compared to the last couple of days it’s enough to make you want to jump in the water.
