Nicaragua Surf Report for Monday, January 16, 2012

Hi everyone, we are the NSR family bringing you all the action for this Monday surf report.  Today we went to the beach in the morning trying to score some fun waves and we did.  It was running about waist to chest high on sets with nice offshore winds and the water was a little chilly.  Check out the lineup!!!

On the first surfing shot of the day we have our very good friend Dunia Burgos, she was catching a lot of waves this morning.  Look at her dropping in on this clean right hander.

Today we have a few international surfers doing their thing.  Here we have one of them, this guy was ripping all over the place.  Check him out throwing some buckets on this little wave.

Also we had some guys on the beach with their boggy boards.  Here we have this guy walking to the water just seconds to paddle out catching some waves and had fun.

As we said before the waves were super fun this morning, this guy was taking advantage in the lineup and he was getting some ones.  Look at him ridding on this peeler right hander.

On this shot we have these two girls taking about this beautiful and nice board.  These girls are ready to paddle out and catch some ones.

The locals were commanding the lineup this morning, this is our friend Rex “La Bestia” Calderon he was killing every single wave.  Check him looking good with a cool from side floater on this close out session.  Good job dude!

We had a few girls in the lineup trying to score some waves.  This is Susan ridding on this small but super fun right hander, one of the many waves that she caught today.
