With the current strong winds we’re having, getting into any waves today was definitely an effort.
I guess the second challenging factor would be on deciding on whether or not to kick out when the crossed up swell lines came together, thus creating these weird looking double ups.
Colin taking the challenge head on and making the air drop out in the flats.
That’s how you buckle a good board… or better yet, your leg. OUCH!
Great day for walking on the beach in the blistering sun, but not feeling like your roasting because the winds feel so nice and cool today.
See what I was saying about the challenging “take-off” conditions. Phi Lu getting all hung up on and not even on his cell phone.
If you happened to check out our insta-stories from today, then you saw the return of the legendary Tommy Tsunami giving us one of is classic surf forecast directly from the check out spot.
Here’s Tommy riding out easily the longest wave I saw ridden out there today.
Normally he could have kept on going, but that weird closeout section kept him from continuing on down the line, forcing him to straighten out. But that was definitely a leg burner right buddy!?!?
Tom stoked as always surfing his favorite wave in Nicaragua.
One man exits, another man enters. Maycol jumping in, mind you he’s not even wearing his rashy. You Cray Cray little hermano, that water is pretty chili!
Front runners. Yup. Will it be ON tomorrow? Hopefully…!!!
Even if it’s still this size tomorrow, sure looks fun as heck.
We’ll just hope the winds aren’t as nuclear as they were today.
Grab ya loved ones… not only because they’re the best thing in your life, but they might just blow away!
Life lesson for the day… put everything you got into what you do each day, like this super sick manly turn Colin’s putting on for display. Thanks for stopping by for todays surf goodness. Come on back tomorrow to see what the ocean might bring us with this (supposedly) new swell. Adiós por ahora ~
