Somewhere in Nicaragua
Welcome to the Friday surf report…. Haaaaa…. Fooled ya! Well, it’s my Friday! But my Friday is really your Wednesday surf report, so tomorrow is technically like my weekend. Anyhow, Happy hump day of the week. Let’s go look at some waves!
Chillier water temps, but still bikini weather! Just like the other two comparisons… smaller waves today, but still super fun!
With everyone out there taking the long rock reef and sand break waves all the way to the inside.
A few others found their own little personal peak with lots of potential for all kinds of sick maneuvers like this epic floater this guys pulling!
I’d say the gloms out there were dominating the pack (although I can’t really call it a pack) as it was pretty low volume in surfers.
Slow(er) season calls for more waves for everyone, if you’re here and enjoying what Nicaragua has to offer!
Alex getting in as many turns as he can before he has to head back to his homeland in Costa Rica. But I’m 100% sure he’ll be back for the peak season when Colorados is pumping in a few months!
Jessie (the shaper ie the GA on the board) has been making some really good quality boards for some time now for a lot of the local and expat community here. I’m actually in the works of talking with him about making me a special “getting back out in the water board here soon”.
There’s no better feeling than a freshly shaped board under your feet! It makes you wanna do stuff like this!!!
