With this size (forecast of 1-2 feet) Panga Drops is the best bet to catch waves, but don’t get excited, this spot can be really frustrating if you don’t have the right surfboard.
Even if you have the right surfboard, you still need to scramble through the wind and the fatty sections to have a long ride.
On small days you will always see surfers jumping off boats here, coming from other parts of Tola where no spot is working as here.
Check out the photographer that came on the boat, he got one wave with a great style all the way to the beach where he got his camera and spent the rest of the day taking photos of the surf. By the way, Wave of the Day Award for him!
A saw this local surfer out there just sitting there, not catching anything for a long time but after getting on a tiny wave I saw what he was actually doing… catching dinner from his surfboard!
He was the only fisherman that caught anything today, one great reason to learn how to surf, right?
A couple of girls were enjoying the flat conditions to gain some confidence in the surf.
After around 40 minutes of taking photos the wind started to pick up and got really difficult to catch the waves. Frustration levels got high really quick.
That’s all for today folks. Take it easy!

Sunday Funday! Welcome to this morning’s surf report from Panga Drops. The waves were really fun this morning. There was a surprise bump in the size and the wind was light. Probably the best waves we’ve had in a week or two, in my opinion. Zach with a big late drop and a cameo from..
