This was maybe one of the furthest waves I saw break outside. Quite the un-norm for this break, but if you can see how high the water line was. I think we had almost an 8 foot high tide around 5pm.
Thus making for some spectacular photos of the backwash waves crashing into the opposite waves coming in and back out!
This guy riding his punchy & short wave and cracking one off the top almost right onto the sand.
Same with this guy doing a nice little floater over this closeout section.
As we all know there are ups and downs to surfing, todays wedging shore pounders had this girl all head over heals. . . . but, there’s always a lot more pros than cons to surfing! 😉
John Springfield out there on what looked like the perfect choice for todays high tide waves! Yeah buddy!!
Here’s a great example of how close to the shore the waves were peaking and finally breaking. This peak is usually breaking about 75-100 yards further outside.
But this unknown gals rode this short and fast little beach break wave like a champ, all the way into dry sand!
Aga & Cara making the late late afternoon session just in time as the tide was on its way out and I bet it got super fun right around dark!Ok boys and girls, I’ll try and make tomorrow’s report in the morning, after the King High tide (which is right around 5:10AM) comes down a little off course. RECENT REPORTS
Happy Sunday everyone! Welcome to this evening’s surf report from Panga Drops. The wind puffed pretty hard again today and the new swell isn’t here yet. There were still a few decent windows though.
