Beautifully lit conditions with some fun waves in the chest high range rolling through.
There were a couple boats that pulled up as well, but hey, what’s a party without a few other amigos to share some waves with?
It’s not like there was any hostility in the water, so I think it was safe to say it was a way to kick off our Sunday Funday campaign.
If the waves you’re out surfing on is at least this high… then I’m pretty sure you’re going to have a fun session.
Add in the fact that the water’s warm and the air is about the same temperature, then you’re days looking pretty good for a surf day!
Coming around about 8 o’clock on the rounds house, both literally and figuratively.
I know Mike would much more prefer his backyard wave over this wave… but then again, he’ll surf a wave pool and still be more stoked than a So Cal grom with a sticker sponsor and 3 brand new boards from LOST. (that’s some stoke!)
This lady completely style mastered this entire wave! I wish I could somehow post the 60 + frame sequence of her on this 150 yard peeler, but her style was epic to watch all the way in to the beach.
The tide was dropping out quick this morning, which can be good and bad. Good because you can literally walk to the waters edge and you’re practically sitting on the inside lineup section. However, because you’re standing at the water level, sometimes a little below sea level, depending on the sand bar you can find to stand on (usually it’s pretty flat on low tide) you end up getting this… foreground wave blockage. It’s not the end of the world, heck maybe sorta looks interesting or different. But it was the best caption I could come up with this shot, so there ya go!
Mikey, going full throttle for something… hopefully something really big???
BOOOOOOOMMM, Yeah buddy!!! Looks like a cool retro ad for Rusty back in the Mag days!
RECENT REPORTS
Hey everyone! Welcome to Wednesday’s surf report from Panga Drops. The morning window was pretty good, but surprisingly few people were out.
FROM THE ARCHIVES
Welcome to the Saturday surf report. Today I decided to take a swim in the nice cool ocean to cool off. Turns out there was a little bit of shredding going down. Check it out!
