Nicaragua Surf Report for Tuesday, January 26, 2021

Brian Scott

Welcome back for another Tuesday fun day of waves. Windy, but still some fun surf to be had out there this morning. Check it out!

Brian Scott

A-Frames for breakfast, well it was more like brunch almost, but the tide was just right and there were only a handful of people out…. so it was a good day!

Brian Scott

I don’t know what makes me feel the strong sense of this, but I have a good feeling he’s been watching the Kobra Kai series on Netflix.

Brian Scott

Meanwhile, out the back this local kid was ripping all over the place!

Brian Scott

Lefts, rights, he was out there to catch waves and not waste any time during his entire surf session.

Brian Scott

One way to not get burnt if you’re the burner is to seek shade… Jajajaja Emi, I think the guy was too deep anyways. Plus you’re getting shacked on a soft top. No more explanation needed!

John was out giving one of his daily surf lessons. I’m not sure who his client/surfer is…..

Brian Scott

But you can tell by the smile on her face that John was definitely giving her, her monies worth in wave quantity today. Go Chica!!!!

Brian Scott

Of course the teacher has to lead by example and not just using words and expressions. Student must see in person how Teacher teaches.

Brian Scott

Nice little close-off end floater. See estudiante, this is how you finish off the wave.

Brian Scott

John practices the long traditional pose and wave prayer of “Thank you mother nature for the waves that were provided for him and all the others on this blessed day”…. Amen.

Brian Scott

Remember the other day I was talking about the main peak here and it has this weird funky middle section that you have to bypass what seems like a closeout section before you can earn your right to the rest of the wave. That’s one of the many intricacies of surfing Panga Drops, this double peaker that if you take off in the dead middle, this is what you have to deal with. Some people here who have surfed this wave long enough have completely figured it out. Just a little friendly tip on being in the right spot and knowing how to make this wave YOU’RE b!itCh jaja!

Brian Scott

Two for two today amigo! Maybe the Softop is your board calling??? hahaha lets see you do this later this season at Colorados and not on your normal shortboard, eh, what do ya say? JOB style!

Brian Scott

Ahhhh one of there other finer intricacies of surfing Panga Drops… the famous closeout bowl section. When the left and the right decided to get married! Always fun cause you know you’re paddle back out from that spot is gonna suck!

Brian Scott

Ok my salt water friends. That’s it for the surfing report and semi surf mini Panga Drops tips lesson for the day. I’m out mañana, but come on by to see what Mr. Baldo might come up with. Its his day so swing on by for tomorrows surf report as always! Cheers ~
