It’s been sort of funny how one day there are only a handful of people out and the next day there are about triple the amount of heads. Today happened to be one of the fuller days of people surfing, but for good reason!
Lesther was out yesterday when I was swimming and there were only about 5 people to share the lineup with. Today there were a few more people to compete with, but that never hinders his ability to find his own waves the shred upon.
Same applies to Kev. This kid actually surfs all over the place. I seriously saw him catch like 10 waves in about 10 min today. It’s ridiculous!
The move the day today was this “grab rail throw everything over the closeout section I’m not sure what this maneuver actually is called anyways” thing. But it looks pretty cool!
There were of course a lot of sick airs being thrown down as well.
So much that this actual giant Nicaraguan Black Vulture, officially called Coragyps atratus, puffed up his feathers and said, don’t make me come out there and show you my air moves!
Oscar getting super compact and tight….
So he can come out of that bottom turn to do stuff like this.
There were about 3 or 4 peaks to choose from out there this afternoon.
Which kept my shooting finger pretty busy for about an hour straight. Cesar bring it home on a really good one from way out the back (he was actually on the wave right after Oscars).
DUDE!!! I love you to buddy…. but look behind you!
Kevin RIPS!!!! Need I say more.
I don’t know who this chica is, but she was getting some really nice long rights way down the way.
Antonella, another one of the few who was out for the evening water session yesterday with me. Always a pleasure to have her nice smile in the lineup.
Good to see Mr. Malone out there, and ripping hard too!!
Is wasn’t all completely short board shredding either. Thierry representing the LB dept, just fine!
Matt on a golden hour glassy nugget sick turn for days.
I suppose I have time for one more of Kevin’s waves…
As a Sunday night cap eh?
Well that’s the weekend wrap up. Not a bad couple days behind the lens or at the console looking through hundreds of sick shots.Remember you can always look at my linkHEREto see all the shots from each day, even if you didn’t make the highlights, there’s a good chance you’re in the folder from each days shots; and don’t forget to always check out our daily happenings on our Instagram accountHERE! Have a good night and a great week starting mañana. Cheers ~
