I could possibly flipped a coin on where I should have shot today, but my first spot was the reef… and it was about as clean and buttery as it gets. So I posted up….. Real Quick!!!!
I couldn’t seem to get my camera out of my bag quick enough. The waves were coming in one right after the other… and nice ones each and every set!
If you made it down for the afternoon sesh, I bet every single surfer that was out, is still buzzing from how good it was!
I mean, look at that. When every singe person on the beach (surfer or non-surfer) is looking like this…..
Then for sure, you know the outside looks like this!!!
Super glassy and clean lefts.
And super clean and glassy, reeeaaallly long rights. Ryan “Hook-in-da-pocket” Cook, on a very sick J-Bay(esque) looking later afternoon gem!
If you need to surf and catch your breath in between waves, well then today would not have been your day. It was like a machine out there!
I saw some pretty sick little barrels as well.
Some people pulled in and made em, like John here.
However, just by looking at our sister break down the way… I’m thinking I might have to go pay her a visit mañana!
And with all this beautiful swell in water and it’s looking for a little while too; I’m looking forward to seeing all the loc’s back out again after their dry season hiatus.
Small chics on small boards were out there ripping.
As well as, well, small chicks with BIG cajones & boards, completely charging the bomber outside set waves!
Even guys who don’t wish to claim being goofy or regular were out there having the time of their life!
Papa NMRK all bottom turn!
Followed by his signature style big papa wrap.
I could go on and on and on… as I shot plenty tonight to give you a proper 100 photo report, easily. But like all good things, must come to an end.
Stay tuned for tomorrow. With this swell and after what you saw with todays goodies, I’m sure Baldo’s going to have some beautiful waves and surfing for you all to look at for your Hump Day!
